My name is Christian and I'm a 33 year old British photographer living in the city of Liverpool.
I like to tell stories with photographs, and I'm influenced by the normal things, the everyday things and the everyday people I meet.
Photography for me is not the end, but part of a wider curiosity, which asks more questions than it answers. I consider photography as interdisciplinary, a coming together of lots of things; history, anthropology, memory, emotions. I also enjoy photographs as objects in themselves and collect old and found photographs some of which can be viewed here.
I've worked for sometime in a supporting role with people on the margins of society and these experiences like others in my life, inform my photography. I have at times combined my work and have used photography and creative practice as a way to explore informal education with vulnerable people. The results can be viewed here.
